Clear Coat Problem

Yesterday morning when I went to the garage there was a decent size Grasshopper on my hood. I removed him without destroying him. This morning when I went out I noticed, what looked like worm trail residue, exactly where the 'Hopper was. I suspect he was secreting juice on the clear coat. I tried some window cleaner and some bug cleaner, neither removed the marks.

Anyone have any ideas how to get it off?

Thanks

Well, window cleaner probably wasn't the best bet. But since the bug remover didn't you should go and try a wax, or a high speed buffing compound. I would have to see it to give you more info.

There is this stuff I use it is like gas, but its called target. It removes tar and other caked on stuff. You can use gas, but what ever you do, do not rub hard, even on the other stuff I mentioned. Use a microfiber towel.

Good Luck
