Noisy tires

Long story short: I put some used rims and tires on a car that I'm going to sell and now I get a lot of road noise from them.

Is there anything I can do to quiet them down?

Some tread designs are noisier than others. Did the used tires have even wear?
Not much you can do with the tires themself.

If the tires are feathered, or cupped they will make noise, if there is enough tread on them you can have them trued, it might help.

You can try balancing the tires.

Thanks for the adjective Wire Twister! I believe you are correct! They are feathered. They don't seamed cupped but when you run your hand one direction they seam normal and in the other, they are rough.

I guess this is a non issue because it sold today. Thanks for the info all!
