pt cruiser rear shocks
Anything I should be concerned about when changing these, have done the job before on cars back in the UK, just want to make sure that I have everything I need when I start. Will I need spring compressors or any specialist tools.
Many Thanks for your help.
Any advice on the best shocks to use, only a fully standard non turbo 2003 2.4l model....

They came in either strut or shock configurations..
The strut type you will need a compressor for the springs...Removal is pretty straightforward......Just be carefull. they are much heavier than they look.

Many thanks for that, just got off my backside & took the rear wheel off to have a look & they are shocks & very easily accessible 1 bolt top & bottom accessed from under the wheel arch.
Should have had a look first before asking such a stupid question.
Many Thanks again, hopefully changing these will stop the lurching I get when I hit a bump going round corners, 1 one of them does show signs of a leak....
