Blower works only on HIGH.

Hi everyone,

My name is Jaz and I hang out at the ceramic tile forum.

My '97 Checy 1 ton G3500 work van's blower fan only works on high speed. Makes no dif if it's set on defrost, dash, floor, heat or air. I think I know what it is, but would any of you guys like to comment?

Regards,Beer 4U2

OOPS, maybe I should have posted in the trucks forum? Oh well, it's the same thing.

Not sure if '97's still have them, but first thing I'd check is the resistor coil. Usually attached to the ductwork under the dash. If it burns out the fan will only run on high.
