4 way tire irons

Is it hard to bend a 4 way tire iron? The reason why I am asking is that I did that once when I was dealing with a lug nut in which someone got a little too happy with the impact wrench. I mentioned that I bent one of these to someone this morning and he had a WT(insert expletive here) look on his face. I have never bent a breaker bar even after 1/2 jumping on it to get a persnickety lug nut.

It's not easy, but it happens. I have bent a few myself.
One even broke.
I have put some nasty pressure on them, but never broke one before this.
I guess, this is what happens when get the cheapest one on the shelf, from the dollar store.
(Don't laugh, I was in a bind)

I've never bent one but I've seen several of the el cheapo 4 ways that had been bent.
I have broke a breaker bar before - with a 6' cheater pipe removing an axle nut on my tractor

If you bend a good 4 way you are putting a whopping lot of pressure on that nut.
