cleaning out the EGR

cleaning out the EGR

anybody had any luck with flushing out the EGR to get some of the gunk out?

maybe trying a spray solvent. something milder than brake parts cleaner. possibly sea foam. that and a paper towel

carb and choke cleaner always worked great for me.
be very careful not to lose the metal gasket!!
after done, check if vacuum makes diaphragm move up and down.

Y, M, +M...?????

Remove the valve, and spray Carb cleaner directly into the main ports on the valve, and Into The intake maniflold Tract......

DO NOT SPRAY ANYTHING INTO THE VACUUM PORT ON THE VALVE!!!!!!!!

If you arent having any driveability issues, and dont have a CE light on for an egr system failure.......DONT MESS WITH IT......

There is no "Preventative" cleaning required for an EGR System.
