service engine soon light

Hi,my service engine light came on so I took my car to autozone and they did a dianostic test for free. It scanned a code PO136 when they printed out the code online my car was not listed 1997 nissan maxima. Does anyone know what that code is or where I can find the information?

Troublcodes.net Trouble Codes OBD & OBD2 Trouble Codes and Technical info & Tool Store. By BAT Auto Technical

Looks like rear HO2S....though I'm not positive what that means...Oxygen sensor?

No clue really...according to autozone..it looks like it may be the one on the exhaust pipe near the catalytic converter? Might want to wait for a real mechanic weighs in.

No real mechanics around just now, so I'll jump in.

Heated O2 sensor, guns.

My lookup source says:

P0136P0140 Rear HO2S So I'm assuming this would be the one past the catalytic converter. If you have three the other two would be one each in exhaust manifolds or head pipes.

As TG said and you stated..I believe you have 3. That code seems to indicate the one near the cat. If you look at the codes list I linked to...you see bank 1 & 2. Those would be the ones on the manifolds.
