1992 Ford Ranger
We have a 1992 ford ranger4x4 4.0 engine with 5 speed and we found a leak in the hydrualic hose where it goes into the trasmission, the fitting. When you press the clutch it squirts out. My question is it replaceable , the fitting or what do I need to do to fix it and what is the name of the part?

There is a fitting the line screws into, but it's usually the slave that's leaking. If it was at the fitting, I don't know if it is replaceable.
Probably the part leaking is the slave inside the bell housing. That's the cylinder that releases the clutch. Unless the line/fitting itself is at fault the transmission will have to be pulled and the slave replaced. It's mostly labor - the slave is around $60 to $75. If you need to make a decision on the cheaper vs the better get the more expensive one.
