95 mystique
Daughter has a 95 mystique,it makes a grinding sound from front passenger side wheel when backing up and brakes are applied. This only happens in reverse. After removing wheel I found pads were good. But I also found rub marks on top of brake caliper and on inside of tire rim.,For some reason caliper is rubbing inside of tire rim when backing up and applying brakes I made sure caliper bolts were tight but that didn't help Any ideas?

Ive seen 2 of these before......95 Mystique, and a 95 Contour...
The first was right after a tire rotation, and for some reasont switching the tires back cured the problem.....Customer swears it was My fault, so I just put the tires back where they were and sent the little......Well....never mind...
The second was a bent caliper bolt. In revers, the edge of the caliper would force outward and hit the wheel, in Drive it would "Suck-INWARD" and not show any problem......
Since the wheels are REALLY CLOSE to the caliper by design, The bushings and hardware MUST be in ABSOLUTELY PERFECT CONDITION....
