What you're doing doesn't sound possible (most guitar amps are 110/240v).
Please could you explain exactly what you want to do, and if it is 110/240 if you have an invertor.

Lookitzryn,, You're sure in a hurry, posting @ 1am & expecting an answer in 1/2 hr... Must be a great party.. LOL... 07bloomfieldb is right, you are at least going to need an inverter... You have to buy an adaptor if you want AC current from a DC power source... Sorry,, Roger

You must use an adapter/inverter and it must be capable of handling whatever load the guitar/amp pulls. You need to find out what that is,it will be on the amp somewhere, and get the proper equipment based on that information.

HMMM, the OP hasn't replied back....the party must be over and everyone is sleeping it off!
I can't believe young adults nowadays have no concept of basic electrical principles. Aren't they learning anything in high school physics classes?

Beach....yer kidding right? Physics? In high school? They don't even have PhysEd at most of them. Chemistry? Ha! Too dangerous and expensive for supplies. Now they have things like Life Lessons to teach you how to do laundry and open a checking account.

And it won't change until enough people die from doing really stupid things they should have been taught not to do...
Like the opposite of this thread, trying to run a 12v item through 115 v circuit etc...

52w? Thats not much of a draw of any sort...esp for an amplifier. You can go to any Radio Shack or Auto parts store and buy an inverter that you plug into the lighter for $25-30.
