02 F-250 fuel smell

My neighbor has an 02 f-250 that has a slight fuel leak. Not sure where it is but thinks it's on the passenger side and notices a strong smell when A/C is running. Any ideas?

What engine? If A triton 8 or 10 does it pardon the pun but sound like a huey helicopter when running? If so you might have lost a plug. If powerstroke you might have an injector line leaking. in any case a fuel smell comming through the hvac system means a leak under the hood the fresh air intake for the hvac is under the cowl on the right(passenger) side. needs to be located asap or you wont need the string mentioned in the previous post it will just take the proper air fuel mix and you get the idea.

Looks like the mod pulled the string post, since it is a powersroke use EXTREME caution around the lines Ford is useing Very high pressures in those lines and if you get your body parts it the way the fuel press can and will remove them in a blink of an eye.
