Keyless entry woes

My girlfriend has a 95' chevy lumina and the keyless entry only opens the back doors not the front doors, what could be the problem?

The key fob's for the Chevrolet Lumina's are made in Series, 1, 2, 3,4, etc.

All key fobs of the same series will work with any vehicle with the same series of vehicles. Which means that a key fob for a Lumina can also open a S 10 Blazer or a Astro Van.

The receiver is located inside of the passenger side door.

Reprogramming the fob usually is nothing more than standing in front of the passenger side door and pressing both top buttons and holding them until the locks opens and closes.

About the only advice I can give you is to replace the batteries in the Key Fobs and reprogram the Fobs, if that doesn't work then the problem is probably in the Body Control Module.

Take it to a Chevrolet garage and have it fixed or use the key to open the door.
