2007 Ford Fusion caliper piston won't tighten

I have swapped out the Pads & Rotors on my 2007 Ford Fusion. Driver's side went fine. Passenger side, when I try to tighten in the piston on the caliper, it turns but does not go in enough to allow enough space to fit the pads around the rotor. Any idea how I can get that piston in further???

Is it front or back your working on??? The front should just squeeze in but sometimes the rear need a bit of push to get them to go.... Assuming it is the rear your working on & the "E" brake is part of the caliaper.... Roger

Hello, Thanks,
It is the rear. I turned it in clockwise, but I did not really put inward pressure on it. Is this why it didn't go in enough?

Maybe,,, I know I've ran into trouble with some & it seemed if I squeezed some with my channell locs while I turned them, they would go... Good Luck, Roger

If you are having that much trouble pushing piston in you probably need a caliper.
