1991 ford E-150

I just replaced the Ignition switch in the Van and now it won't start. it will crank but won't turn over.

Why did you replace the other ignition switch? What was IT not doing?

The truck would not start and there was no power going to the swith when we checked it.

If no power going TO the switch, then I presume the vehicle never even cranked, right? But if no power even going to the switch, why did you change the switch?

I was wrong in the last post. When they turned the key the key would not bounce back after you Tried to start the car. thats why they replaced the switch. Sorry I got bad information.

are you saying that when the ket is turned to 'start' the eng does't turn over?
'if' so try-loosen the nuts that hold the switch to the columb-move the switch toward the strng weel & retighten.

The Engine will crank it just won't start.
