Fan Control

I HAVE A NEW RESISTOR FOR MY 1995 CHEV.2500 4WD TRUCK. tHIS CONTROLS THE FAN SPEED FOR THE HEATER. I CANNOT LOCATE THE OLD ONE SO I CAN PUT IN THE NEW. HOW DO YOU FIND IT?

Locate the blower motor, find the electrical connector, backtrack away from the blower. Hint: It might be mounted in the ductwork near the blower.

usually it is in the evaporator case under the hood-(on the passenger side of the engine) it uses the air flow to cool itself

look behind the glove box( drop it down out of the way) on the top of the blower housing. i think there is a set of relays on a bracket it may be behind them.
