84 tercel oil in radiator overflow

i've done alot of heads but have never seen oil like this in the radiator overflow. about 1" of oil in there. i am just wondering if this can be anything else but warped head or blown head gasket. like maybe pcv valve or something else strange like that. not losing antifreeze and there is no water in the oil, just the other way around. this is an 84 4wd wagon 210,000 miles.

Does it have an oil cooler on it?

Does your Tercel have an automatic transmission? If so you may be getting "oil" from the transmission cooler built with-in the radiator. Check transmission fluid level and condition. this may answer your dilemma.

these are both good ideas. i don't have the car at the moment (children have it) but will check for other lines into radiator.it s a manual trans but did not think about oil coolers.

looked a the car today. there are no cooler lines going into the radiator. any other ideas where this much oil could be getting into the antifreeze?
