Front brakes stuttering

I replaced front as well as rear brakes on my stepson's 2001 Jetta. All appears to have been good for the first 800 miles. The front rotors were turned but a completely trued surface was not possible on either driver or passenger side due to thickness tolerances. What appears to be happening now is a very quiet, minor squeaking as well as the steering wheel shimmying/shaking slightly when braking. The driver side brakes, from inside the vehicle appear to be making a rubbing sound when braking, much more audible during dry conditions than when damp outside. Can the too close to tolerance rotor thickness be causing this as the brake pad heats up during periods of braking? All caliper mounting bolts were checked for tightness.

Do it right. Replace the rotors and pads.

Bill is right.

It will only get worse with wear and increased temperatures because the rotors are not thick enough and the heat will quickly warp then more.

Front brakes stuttering

Will the warped/warping rotors ruin the newly replaced pads as well or will I simply need to replace the rotors?
