Van rearend on an SUV?

Would it be possible for me to you a rearend off of a 90s model Chevy G20 van (Short-wheel base with a 4.3L) on a 94 Chevy Suburban supposing the gear ratio is the same?

From what I was able to find C series van maybe G no but depending on ratio you should be able to use any pickup or Suv rear end up to 99 in the ten or 14 bolters depending on whats in there now. I think the reason for not interchanging has to do with u-joints being bigger on the G series. If you can get the dline modified to accept the rears ujoint and every thing else lines up width and spring/shock mounts ect you could pull it off.The reason I suggest the dline mod instead of trying to change the pinion yoke is I don't think they make one to work for you. Sorry I couldn't help more
