Recommended spark plugs for 2003 Ford F-150

97,000 miles Ford F-150 stock spark plugs.
4.6L 281cid V8 FI
I'm not concerned with performance just economy. I went to rockauto and they had 25 types to choose from. Arghh!

Can you list even half of what they all might be? I have never heard of such a thing before. 25? Reguilar, hot, cold, rim fire, titanium, ??????...I'm done. Need over 20 more. ?????

Ah. Yeah. All the different mfg'ers. And I forgot iridium. That particular plug type was discussed here not all that long ago.

Sort of like drill bits how you can get regular hardened ones, and now titanium and yet now cobalt. Naturally, people that are really into owning nothing but the best premium quality stuff have to have the latest thing.

Which in turn allows me to pick it up at their yard sales a couple months later for $0.25

bobed2121,, I have to agree with Hotin OKC, The last time I was @ my Ford dealer (today) we had plugs for it,, Why not use the ones that were built for it by the people that built the truck??? Price them out.. The OEM may even be less money than the aftermarket .. Roger
