1996 grand voyager code 171

My grand voyager has been accelerating sluggishly, I checked the code and it read 171 lean mixture bank 1. I listened for vacum leaks but did not hear any. Any suggestions on where to look next, or has anyone had the same problem?

This means it is mixing more air with the fuel than it should...

So not getting enough fuel... Fuel filter, fuel pressure.

Or getting too much air... Vacuum leak, MAF sensor.

The MAF sensor tells the engine computer how much air is going into the engine. It "measures" the amount of air going in...

So if there is something wrong with that sensor, the engine computer might think less air is going in than actually is going in.

MAF sensors can be cleaned with Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner.
