2000 town and country code 700 and 715
Engine light came on and tranny geared down. stopped by transmission shop and had code read, all i know is 700 and 715. something about tranny solenoid and input output sensor. I have changed the filter and fluid a couple of times and can do most mechanical work like alternators, belt tensioners etc. And just wondering how hard this would be to do on the solenoid.....thanks for help

I would start like this. If speedometer does not work then I would change the output sensor. (cheap and easy)
If speedometer is working then I would change input sensor and test drive the vehicle.
I did my wifes Intrepid a bit back and the sensor was only bout $15 as far as I remember
On the Trep the Input is the same as the output sensor.
I would wait on the solonoid problem till after the input or output sensor was changed. Could fix both codes with sensor change.
Fairly easy do it yourself for the sensors. One inch deep socket if I remember right

You are right
700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
715 Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
Dont worry about the 700 code for now, just the Input sensor
Generic 700 should clear after
