Had check engine light come on. Went to Advanced to read codes. It stated the Upstream O2 sensor was bad. Paid for and replaced O2 sensor and light seems to come back intermittently now. I've disconnected battery numerous times to clear the code. Some times the code comes back quickly after starting, other times it comes back on after a couple of days (around 50 miles). Went back to Advanced, pulled the codes again and stated same problem, Upstream O2 sensor bad. Any advice would be appreciated. One thing the dude at Advanced told me was there are 2 Upstream O2 sensors, I've only found one Upstream and 1 in the catalytic converter. Any ideas on that, or is there only 2 total?

Well, according to Autozone.com ..there's only 1 upstream.
They have a very good troubleshooting guide on their site...
Just doing some reading...possibly theres an issue with the relay that supplies voltage to the sensor? Look at the auto shutdown relay section.

Some oxygen sensors are "heated" and need power to operate.
So check the fuses. The owner's manual will give some fuse information. If it does not say which fuse, then check all fuses. Just check one at a time, then replace.

Also check the wire for breaks or shorts to ground.
