Question 98 expedition front breaks

I have a 98 expedition. Recently the front right break seems to be hanging up after i stop. It also pulls to the right sometimes when i apply the breaks. Today it was so hot that i could smell the pads and wheel was very hot. Do i have a bad caliper. Put new pad on about 3 months ago.

Bad caliper, bad hose, bad proportioning valve (not so much the last, normally)..all are possible problems.

Most likely by now you need new front pads and discs and poss a new hose...I'd replace both at the same time. Always replace pads and discs in pairs.....

A "bad caliper" sometimes just needs the slide bolts cleaned and greased with caliper grease. Or replace it.
Seems like the piston can also go bad if the boot is torn or dry rotted.
Too much overheating and the rotor will warp and also need replacement.
