1994 dodge intrepid

i have a 1994 dodge intrepid with a 3.3 The fuel pump relay is not clicking like it should. it hits good then gets good pressure then nothing we changed the relay same thing what can i look for and where at

I don't know about your specific vehicle...

But on some vehicles, if you turn the key switch to ignition on, the fuel pump may run for 2 seconds then automatically turn off. That is normal.

However when you turn the key to start and start the engine, the fuel pump will remain running.

So are you trying to start the vehicle or just turning the key to ignition on?

it does not matter if you just turn the key or try to start no fuel at first i thought it was the fuel pump so i put on a new one i removed the fuel pressure regulator to watch the fuel then unhooked the fuel line at the fuel rail to watch you turn the key on you get fuel try it again nothing for 3 or 4 times its like the relay is not working right when you get fuel you can feel and here a loud click when you dont get fuel its a soft click
