Exclamation Automotive Parts Question

I have a 1992 Ford Mustang LX convertible 2.3L engine. I sent it to a mechanic to figure out an airbag code. My dash was blinking a 3-4 code. After some research, I found out that code means there is low resistance in the driver side airbag circuit. When my mechanic did diagnostics to find out what is wrong he told me my clockspring needed replacing. I called the Ford dealership and the item is discontinued. I have been searching non-stop for this part for 3 weeks with no luck. Is there anyway to get this clockspring now?

Junkyard. Might be a long painful search. Here's a starting point:

Used Ford Clock Springs - PartRequest.com
