hail damage repair

Does the hair dryer and dry ice trick really work for removing hail dents??

hail damage

I have first hand knowledge after sustaining $1500 worth of hail damage. I had 30 lbs of dry ice and worked for quiite a while and accomplished nothing. There are however places that work the dents out with bars and dont damage the finish.
