ac clutch in tracer

1998 mercury tracer ac clutch not engaging charge is ok
any thoughts fuse location relay?

The fuse is probably under the hood somewhere. The owner's manual will say fuse locations and fuses, but in general. Might not mention A/C compressor.

Also if the system is low on refrigerant, a low pressure sensor switch will prevent the A/C compressor from operating. Have the pressures checked.

like i said charge is ok no manual checked all visable fuses under hood and inside looking for exact location of fuse and or relay to engage clutch

If you can't get that information on the internet, it would be in a factory service manual set of books which you can order from a dealer or helminc.com

jumps start clutch from battery. for a short time, of course. see if it even engages.
