2000 Bravada Suspension

I have a 2000 Bravada I would like to raise the rear suspension a bit. I tow a 12 ft trailer from time to time and it sags the suspension. I know there are several options out there just wondering what would be the best long term and not negatively affect the ride too much.

Thanks,
Saurd

Is there a brand you would recommend. And what should I expect to pay for them, I have seen them for anywhere from the $200 range to $600-$700 range.

Thanks,

Make sure you have the proper designation of the car. I drive a 1999 Jimmy 4WD SLT and my wife has a "sister" 2000 Blazer 4WD SLE and they are definitely seem to be different when I drive them and have used the same mechanic for 5 years for all maintenance and repairs.

My vehicle many be unique because it was always owned and maintained by GM and was driven by an executives wife until I purchased it in 2002 with 24,000 miles on the odometer and now have about 150,000 miles on it with very low maintenance. I do have a console "button" to push for towing, but it has never been used even when towing my 1000# max aluminum boat. According to the complete GM records, a front wheel hub was replaced at 18,000 miles, which was little early for those models. It has always used Mobil 1 and not adding oil was ever considered.

My wife's car (now 95,000 miles) rides better, but has required more maintenance, possibly because of the driving habits. - She lands in the garage instead of parking.

Before you jump, make sure you have the compete specs for your car before changing the suspension since it can have other consequences. Look closely at the options and the little tin plate has a lot of information codes on it.
