center drag link

Howdy!!

My 1995 Crown vic with 152k has a center drag link going south. Is this a very rare part to go? AZ and Advance Auto do not even have that part in stock on their websites. Hopefully the part shows up before I lose control of the steering in my car. A friend who is an ex-mechanic is doing it while I help him with it since I never even heard of the part before.

I called them, their vendor doesn't have it. I got it from partstrain.com. Believe it or not, it is actually a Ford part. Should arrive in a week or less. got it for $68 including shipping. I just wondered if it was a part that didn't normally go south.
