A/C 2002 Kia Spectra

the a/c was working great. i used the defrosters one morning then after that the a/c only blows warm air. any ideas?

check connectios

check to see if the plugs into your compressor have come loose

I am thinking that it may be a refrigerant leak somewhere. I charged it up because pressure was really low that seems to have worked for now, pretty sure it is only temporary. So i will have to search for the leak with the UV pen. Also, yes i did check the plug on the compressor. I also checked fuses, mode control motors, and control panel switches, all of those are 100% operational.

It is a leak somewhere for sure. Anything like oil for instance coming out of the compressor seals? If not, there is a leak elsewhere obviously. Possibly at a pipe connection/junction seal point. If it is now working after a charge and it quit doing anything that fast rather than just losing cool air over time you either lost enough to reach the threshold refridgerant level to shut down the system or some connection/seal failed when you were sleeping. You need to do a leak test.
