F250 parking break

The parking brake cable on my 2000 Ford F250 broke . The cable broke in the short link that attaches to the pedal. So I picked up the replacement cable and installed it with little trouble. My question - How do I get enough slack in the cable coming from the rear? I need 3-4" to hook it up - Thanks

look under the truck and you should find a cable comming from each rear hub to a Y connector which then runs to the piece that you replaced. thare should be some adjustment at the Y connector..

Good luck and have a great day
