Reverse lamps not working.

2003 Dodge Dakota Manual Transmission. I checked the fuse and it was ok. I looked at one lamp and it was ok. Even checked for continuity. I checked for voltage on the lamp connector and there wasn't any. Any ideas of what it could be? I have very little automotive experience.

I'd first check the switch above the brake pedal. Should be a simple 2 wire connection...open and close.

Sorry...it looks like it's not listed..not sure where it is. Could be near the trans..or in the gearshift assy.
