For more detailed information post “Thunder Series” or “Performer Series” and a part number

Example: Thunder Series 1804.

Turn both adjustment screws in all the way in and, then back each screw 1.5 turns.

Bring the engine to normal operating temperature.

Attach a tach or a vaccum pressure gauge and, with the engine at normal operating temperature (watch the tach or vacuum gauge) and turn each screw separately until you get the highest reading from each screw.

Once you’ve achieved the opportune settings, turn each screw in 1/4 turn.

Now set the idle (in park or neutral) to 900 or 1,000 RPM
