1989 Cadillac Deville problem

Hello. I just bought this Deville and the power steering fluid leaks out within a few hours. Very aggravating having to fill it up every time I go somewhere.

Once filled it's fine, so probably a bad hose? Could be a DIY or is it more complicated? Thank you in advance for any help.

You'll just have to get in there and dig around. Could be a hose, could be the pump, could be bad seals in the steering box. If it's losing that much it should be easy to spot.

i had on my Grand am a Power steering hose go with a major leak.. it ended up being where the steel connection at the end where it meets the flexible rubber hose.. and blew a huge leak but it was under that wire loom stuff so you couldnt see the leak but rather it just poured out of the loom so you couldnt see it unless you remove it
