Unhappy Serious oil leak

Hey guys I got a 2001 Altima with the 2.4L 4cylinder engine. Recently i heard a small rattle coming from the area around the timing chain but a few days ago the rattle got louder and my car began loosing oil. The oil leak is so bad that if you add a quart it drains right out. I cant quite tell where its coming from and i have read that the rattle i'm hearing could be the timing chain guide. Any one ever had or heard of this problem?
Thanks

If your car has an oil cooler, it might be the seal for it. Had a car that used 9 quarts of oil to go 20 miles because of that seal being bad. Good luck with it.

If you are hearing a loud rattle and oil is draining out...STOP driving the car. Unless you are prepared for a major bill, better to maybe pay a few hundred now and have a car that could go another 60K.

You could have worn a hole in a cover or something worse.
