My outside mirror, just the reflector part. How do you get this to stick on the base in the cold weather? A certain type of tape or glue? Its just the passenger side Thanks for your ideas.

Mine have all been attached differently so I'm having trouble figuring out what happened, can you post a picture?

mirror

A lot of them are glued in, I dont know what type glue they use. This may be a good one to take to a glass shop. No glue is going to work good in the cold.

All the ones I've ever dealt with are stuck on with double sided tape. You can get it at any hardware store or auto parts store. Make sure to get the heavy duty kind and follow all instructions.

outside mirror replacement

After taking mine to a parts store they said it looked as if it were held on with silicone in four corners and two sided tape in the middle until the silicone set. I dont know how warm the mirror will have to be for it to set and hold. Thanks for your help.
