Chevy Tahoe vent controls

I have a '99 Chevy Tahoe that has a problem with air flow routing. All of my air is diverted to floor vents & I can't get it to switch to my defrost or dash vents. Any suggestions on where / what to troubleshoot?

Not the most fun to troubleshoot. You'll need to locate the actuators for the blend doors in the ducting. Could be mechanical, electrical, or vacuum-operated. Either you have a bad actuator, or bad signal to the actuator - broken/disconnected cable, bad electrical connection, or vacuum leak. Sometimes all the actuating components will be working perfectly, but there will be a structural failure of one of the doors or its actuating mechanism causing it to remain in one position. I have to warn you, this can be pretty challenging.
