Replacing the cam interrupter magnet on da 1991 buick park avenue?

I was hopeing someone can tell me how to remove the cam interrupter magent on a 1991 buick park avenue? I've got it all broke down. I can see the magnet throught cam position sensor window, but I can't get the magnet out. Its hard cause I can't see it to see just where to pull at. Can someone please help me!

I've never heard of a ""cam interrupter magent"" on any car.. Is it the cam position sensor??? The pro's will be along soon, but in my 20 years in the trade, I haven't heard of one.... Roger

Had to do some surfing to figure it out. The little doo-dad is pressed into a hole in the camshaft drive gear apparently and provides the trigger for the cam sensor. This Q&A on another forum has some insight:

Buick 3.8 cam interrupter magnet question

And here's even more info where it's suggested the job can have a shortcut. Have never dealt with one of these so can't pass judgement:
