Air Filter

I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous with V-6 engine.

What is the trick to removing the air duct so I can change the engine air filter? I loosened the clamps but I could not get the air duct out.

i pry stubborn ducts off with flathead screwdriver. if it's rubber one. they get sticky from dirt and heat. if it's plastic....

i looked it up on google images. looks very similar to what i have in my Silverado rubber duct wise. they DO get sticky. try something like a dull tipped flat knife, and run it between plastic and rubber, underneath the clamp, in circular motion, as far as you can reach. . those clamps should be attached to the duct at single point. you can loosen them pretty good. or, you can try grabbing the leading duct edge with fingers, and basically prying it off with some force. WATCH THAT MAF SENSOR!! don't forget to reconnect it's plug, it will not start or will run very rough with it disconnected.
