2005 Mazda Tribute Door Replacement

2005 Mazda Tribute Door Replacement

I damaged my right rear door and am thinking about replacing it myself. Can the door be removed by simply removing the two thin hinge pins that appear to be held in position by a form of c-clip or am I looking at a more complicated problem.

Unbolt the hinges.........................

I don't have mine (2001) here (at the tranny shop), but I think I agree...unbolt the hinges if they aren't welded (like my nephews Chevy was).
They probably aren't really even c-clips...but more of a captive retainer that will be damaged by removal.

You'll also need to remove the interior door panel first to disconnect the wiring.
