Mini van oil pan badly dented

I have a 2005 mini van. I noticed as I changed the engine oil that the oil pan is badly dented from the bottom. It is not leaking - just dented. I was given conflicting advice. Some mechanics told me it is not a big deal. Others told me it must be fixed or replaced. Can someone with lots of experience give me a final thought ? Thanks.

I've got a huge flat dent in the bottom of the pan (basically the normal convex shape pushed concave) on my wrecker; been there for about 150,000 miles. A lot depends on the shape and design of the pan and where the dent is in relation to what's under the pan. If the pan is not difficult to get to (the one on my truck has a crossmember with the motor mounts directly below it, lots of labor to replace) I would go ahead and replace it; an aftermarket pan would be about $30 + labor to replace and then it would be off your mind.
