96 Blazer runs for a while then won't start.

I have a 96 blazer that is running a bit rough. If it sits overnight it will start right up with no hesitations, however after running for a few minutes it starts to run very rough. Once I turn the car off after this it will not start back up unless it sits for several hours. I'm getting fuel. I just put new plugs and wires on it. I checked all the vacuum lines and they're all good. Compression is 120. I also noticed a lot of white smoke coming from the exhaust. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Now did the old plugs look when you pulled them? Check for spark when it won't start. Ignition modules, for one, have been know to cause a hot no-start when they begin to degrade, but there are other potential causes, too.

Plugs were dry. No composites on any of the plugs. I checked for spark on all plugs and they all check out.

Hi
I know you said it was getting fuel but the first thing that jumped into my mind was fuel pump on its way south
