Vehicle recalls
I was just checking out my vehicle on the auto zone web sight,m and found out there has been 14 recalls on this since it was made. I bought it used, and I am the third owner. Is there away I can find out if these recalls were ever taking care of.

First of all you can call your local dealer and give them your vin number and they can tell you what recalls are open on your particular vehicle. Second, just because there are recalls for a particular vehicle does not mean that your vehicle has the same recall. Recalls are issued based on a particular set of parameters, usually by build date.
Hope this helps ya,

Thanks for the reply. I was worried, because one of the recall was major. The defect is so bad, there is no fix. They replace the vehicle. There is suppose to be something wrong with the welds on the frame.

All recalls are major. It is called a recall because it is a safety concern. Normally you would get a notice in the post mail letting you know that your vehicle has been involved in a recall and that you should go to your local dealer as soon as possible to have the recall procedure performed. More often than not the consumer knows about the recall before the dealership personel, although that has seemed to have gotten better here lately.
I dont think I have ever heard of this particular recall but im sure it is a very few vehicles that are involved. Most times there is an inspection process that is used to determine if the vehicle requires attention to the affected area.
