Question Preformed Hose

Does anyone have any ideas for a substitute for a preformed hose? I need to replace a U-shaped rubber hose for the PCV system on a 2000 Ford Escort. You can't purchase the hose separately, you have to buy the entire hose/duct/oil separator line. Ordinary hose won't work because it will kink at such a small radius.

Sometimes plain hose can be made to work in tight places by making a 360 degree loop to make the radius a bit bigger. I'm not familiar with what that particular hose looks like.

Or, take your present hose to an auto parts house and ask if you can "browse" the hoses. Sometimes multiple bend hoses will have at least one in it you can use. Cut off what you don't need or save it for another use.

Is this half inch or less? Do you have a tubing bender? Use cooper tubing and just connect on each end with a short length of hose.

If it is the hose I am thinking of it is 2 different sizes on the ends and you might be hard pressed to find something to work. You might try a salvage yard but the problem, as im sure you know, the material doesnt stand up well against oil and it gets soft and rips causing a vacuum leak and a plethora of lean codes.
Im sure it isnt very cost effective, but if you cant find something at the auto parts store like chandler said you may have to purchase the new piece from FORD!!
Hope this helps ya,
Billy
