Welcome to the forums!

You may need to back off the brake shoe adjustment. Sounds like you might have a busted wheel cylinder.

Will not come off, or not move at all. If it will move out some but hold back then it is exactly as marksr says. If it is frozen in place on the hub and studs get a bigger hammer with some good wacks, and consider applying some heat as a last resort.

Some penetrating oil around the hub may help, too.

I don't think those have a retaining bolt/screw like some vehicles have.

front or rear?? front may have drum made in with hub-requiring spindle nut, washer, bearing removal. Either way, probably need to back off shoes as Mark said.

I don't think any cars made since the 60's have had drum brakes on the front so I would assume that arktos is working on the rear brakes.

I once owned a G-body but with the Grand Prix SJ name plate from the same GM midsize era. Front disc, and rear drum was what mine and they all had. 4 wheel disc was not even an option and front discs were standard. GM started the G-bodies in 1978. If the hub will loosen some along the studs another check is to make sure the parking brake cable system is not dragging a little also.
