I plan to install trailer lighting on my 2008 Infiniti that has LED tail lights.
I have a standard automotive circuit test light that I have used for many applacations but am not sure of using this with LED tail lights. Will I need a special LED test light to identify the different circuits?
Since I was unsure of where to post, I also posted under "Electrical---AC & DC"

There appears to be a harness already on the vehicle and you would need to buy a harness to hook up the trailer lights.
You would use a standard 12 volt test light to check your connections.
There is a handy little testing gadget that plugs in to a 4 pole flat connector and has lights to indicate correct hook up and only costs about three dollars.
