What is best type of wheel bearing grease to use on Silverado?

Getting ready to replace front wheel bearings. Usually just use regular wheel bearing grease from auto store. Is one kind or type better use than the other? thanks

Dunno whether it still applies...but there used to be different grease for disc brakes or drum brakes.

what drive? is it hub bearing or regular bearing? use GM recommended grease with PTFE, #12345879.
It's pricy, but is, surprisingly for GM product, a good grease.
I bought mine at local dealer. When guy told me $35, I said - whhaaahhh? For can of grease 7 bucks worth at any parts store? and he instantly "offered me a discount" and sold it for $17. I like the grease. put zirks anywhere I could, pump it in all the time.

OEM uses cheap grease for the bearings. It doesn't take much to lube them. Mobil 1 synthetic grease or Valvoline Syntech grease would be an upgrade. Both are commonly available over the counter.
