Very cute model and much cheaper than the $250,000 cash down payment, a 3 year wait and then coming up with the remaining$2,100,000 for a real one. At least with a model, the gas tank will not be empty in 12 minutes at top speed (268 mph). - It even out runs a McLaren Formula 1 car.

Very complex with 2 very small V8s (side-by-side), 4 turbo chargers and 15 computers plus a lot of leather and sterling silver interior trim. - Probably the only way to get one of the little V8s in the U.S. legally except for one of the older the Porsche SUVs with a 190 mph top end.

VW/Porsche probably does not make anything on them (or even want to sell very many), but is certainly unique and beyond anything else and makes a quality and technology statement.

wouldn't call a W16 (downsized from W18 due to lack of proper transmission) a "small" engine, but thank you for general overview.
