V8 Dodge Durango 2002

My durango has been doing some type of "kicking in" movement when I drive on interstates. It feels like it's coming from the middle of under my car. Transmission maybe? It is not a persistent problem at all, but I was just curious. It passes inspection and everything like that, but I can't help but to wonder.

I've honestly never seen a Durango that hasn't had torque converter issues. Do a google search for durango and torque converter is see if any similar to yours. Good luck.

If it's only at highway speeds possible torque converter problem does your check engine light come on when this is happening if so you will have to pull codes.when is the last time you had transmission serviced .which motor do you have 4.7 or 5.9

Yes! The check engine light has been known to come on at times a few months ago, but it randomly went away for good. I will look into the torque converter stuff. You guys are good! I'm not sure which motor I have, I can find out though.
