Too much Anti-freeze/Coolant poured accidently

Hi:
Accidently, I poured Anti-freeze, Preston 50/50 into Coolant Reservoir almost all way top. Coolant is now very close to Coolant Reservoir cap.

Is it OK to leave it, hoping excess Coolant drip down to the road as drive?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Coolant

Coolant reservoir designed as overflow fluid level will rise as engine get hotter it best to syphon out excess to proper level than just let it overflow out.

I agree. Excess that overflows is poisonous to animals and I'd hate to have an animal drink the overflow and die a horrible death.

Agreed, and be careful how you siphon it out.

Side note on the 50/50 anti-freeze mixes; you are paying almost twice as much for the product as you do when you buy the full strength and dilute yourself. Clever marketing ploy by the coolant makers.

Just siphon it out and set it aside for topping off. Make sure it's properly labeled if you don't use the original jug. This can avoid a nasty incident or misunderstading.
